Position: Inpatient Certified Pharmacy Technician FT

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification required within one year of employment.
  • Must sit for first exam within first 6 months and receive certification status within 12 months.
  • Must be registered with the State of Iowa Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire.
  • One to three years of previous pharmacy experience is desirable (or combination college and experience).
  • Must be able to type accurately and have basic knowledge of medical terms and abbreviations.
  • Manual dexterity and eye‑hand coordination are useful in preparing or assisting with preparation of orders.
  • Must be able to demonstrate basic computer skills in a Windows environment.
  • Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
  • Must possess a personal presence characterized by honesty, integrity, and caring, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission and vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
