Fitness Specialist – Dubuque, IA

Fox Rehabilitation seeks a top caliber Fitness Specialist to join our growing team in the Dubuque, IA area. This position is approximately 3-5 hours weekly with room to grow, focusing on patient continuity and support for older adults.

Founded in 1998, FOX was the first private practice in the country to provide outpatient rehabilitation services in an in‑home setting for the older adult population. We help patients restore the quality of life they deserve and desire, delivering rehabilitation of lives through evidence‑based therapy with innovative and proactive treatment.

• Provide 1:1 and small group fitness sessions to patients
• Deliver exercise programs to maintain functional levels after discharge from rehabilitation services
• Travel to patient residences and Senior Living Communities as needed
• Expand territory and adapt to practice requirements
• Participate in continuing education opportunities

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or Exercise Physiology
• Certified Personal Trainer through a nationally recognized organization (ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE, ISSA) preferred, or willingness to become certified
• CPR Certification
• Experience working with older adults in a proactive wellness setting preferred
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently

Ideal availability: M,W,F mornings (9 a.m. – 12 p.m., flexible); 3–5 hours per week with potential growth.
