• Represent clients in felony and misdemeanor jury trials, from arraignment through verdict
• Develop comprehensive defense strategies across a broad range of criminal charges
• Draft motions, negotiate with prosecutors, and advocate during hearings and sentencing
• Guide clients through complex legal proceedings with professionalism and empathy
• Collaborate with support staff to deliver effective case management from intake to resolution

• Juris Doctor (JD) and active license to practice in Iowa (or ability to obtain quickly)
• Minimum 5 years of criminal defense experience, with proven jury trial experience
• Excellent courtroom presence and confident oral advocacy skills
• Strong file management and organizational abilities
