Join Simmons Foods to maintain, calibrate, and preserve automated industrial machinery and support all packaging and process systems, including site auxiliary equipment, in a safe and efficient manner.

• Execute routine work assignments, supporting instrumentation, packaging and process controls, PLC programming, electronic equipment troubleshooting, and frequency drive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform necessary maintenance, monitoring valves and meters to ensure proper operation and continuously improving automated system performance.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, maintaining accurate records of maintenance performed, work orders requested, and parts requested; perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual electrical preventive maintenance as required.
• Communicate and train production staff on electrical hazards and maintenance techniques; understand NEC codes and read/decipher blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
• Participate as a member of the team, fostering strong cohesiveness and coordinating work to ensure best practices with all team members, attending team meetings, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

• High School Diploma or equivalent;
  Technical College or Vocational training in PLC controls, Allen Bradley programming.
• Good background in manufacturing;
  Technical experience in PLC controls and Allen Bradley programming.
• Strong understanding of NEC codes, ability to read blueprints, drawings, and schematics, and ability to communicate effectively with production staff.
