The Dubuque County Coordinator has primary responsibility to represent HACAP in Dubuque County.
SCHEDULE AND WAGEMonday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (some non-traditional hours may be needed).
$35.03 - $40.36 hourly depending upon education and experience.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Lead effective collaboration and networking in the county with other service providers. Assure HACAP’s involvement and leadership in new initiatives;
- Coordinate with programs within HACAP and other community service agencies to develop good working relationships within the community;
- Identify service gaps and unmet needs of the community and seek solutions to fill gaps in unmet needs;
- Attend county meetings as identified by self and/or requested by agency leadership, present agency reports and serve as a liaison;
- Identify service delivery challenges and coordinate with HACAP leaders to better streamline service delivery;
- Working with the HACAP leadership, assist in the identification and recruitment of agency board members, county advisory committee members, and other volunteers;
- Provide leadership to special projects unique to the county service area;
- Participate in meetings, conferences, seminars and workshops as necessary and required;
- Provide supervision to operations staff in Dubuque, Delaware, and Jackson Counties;
- In conjunction with the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer develop and manage the operating budgets for the Dubuque, Jackson, and Delaware County Offices.

Education And/or Experience- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Services, Communications, or related field and two years of relevant experience. OR
- an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.
- Must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience presenting to small and large groups.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Valid driver's license
- Valid car insurance
- Reliable transportation for use on the job.
- Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings.
