Full‑time position in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Primary duty is a 12‑hour night shift (18:00‑06:30) with required coverage of every third weekend and every third holiday. Cross‑training will be provided to care for postpartum mothers and newborns, as well as patients in the Pediatric department.

• Provide nursing care for newborns admitted to the NICU, including assessments, monitoring, and medication administration.
• Work closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and laboratory personnel to fulfill the patient’s plan of care.
• Undertake a rotating night shift schedule, covering assigned third‑weekend and third‑holiday shifts.
• Assist in the cross‑training of postpartum and pediatric patients as required.

• Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Iowa.
• Mandatory BLS and PALS certification.
• Required to become NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certified within the first six months of employment.
• Must be a mandatory reporter and possess strong communication skills.
• Prepared to work nights, third‑weekends, and third‑holidays.
