* As a  
** CNA/Unit Secretary
** at Mercy One, you will perform clerical, receptionist and assistive duties under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse and the Director.  The US/CNA completes clerical work and provides holistic, compassionate, individualized, and effective patient care as well as meeting other physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our patients consistent with the mission, vision, values and cultural beliefs of Mercy One, evidence-based standards of care, and established policies and procedures.

* + Full time 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week)

+ Day shift

+ Weekend and holiday rotation required

** General Requirements:*
* + Must be 18 years of age.

*
* Education:

*
* + Certification in a 75-hour CNA program required.

+ Must be on the Iowa CNA registry.

+ High school diploma or GED equivalent.

+ Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within 6 months of hire and every 3 years thereafter.

+ Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) will be required within 30 days of hire and every 2 years thereafter.
