Grocery Clerk

Job Function

As a Grocery Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our grocery department. Your expertise in stocking shelves, assisting customers, maintaining a clean and organized store, and contributing to a positive shopping experience for our customers is essential.

• Provide outstanding customer service
• Clean and sanitize daily
• Operate a POS system to checkout customers
• Unload product from trucks and stock shelves
• Properly price and display product signs
• Sack groceries and provide carry out service
• Record and report accurate inventory counts
• Assist all customers in their shopping
• Perform e-commerce duties such as picking customer orders, bagging, and delivering to vehicles
• Other duties as assigned

• Must be at least 14 years old or older
• Ability to work Saturdays and some evenings
• Fast paced environment work ability
• Team player with good interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Basic math required
• Previous experience in the grocery business or a related field is helpful but not required

• On feet up to 8+ hours per day
• Repetitive lifting, reaching, grasping, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, squatting
• Frequently lift 0-20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

• Exposure to varying temperatures and inclement weather
