Industrial Maintenance Technician

We are hiring Industrial Maintenance Technicians to support production and facility operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and improving equipment to keep operations running safely and efficiently.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic maintenance experience who enjoy solving problems and working on a variety of equipment and systems.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
• Complete equipment repairs, adjustments, calibrations, and upgrades to improve reliability and performance
• Support preventive maintenance programs and continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform basic facility maintenance including plumbing, carpentry, welding, and painting as needed
• Maintain spare parts inventory and document completed maintenance activities
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and all safety requirements
• Assist with equipment installations, facility projects, and machinery moves
• Support TPM, 5S, and other operational improvement efforts

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, industrial, facilities, or related environments
• Experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
• Experience using diagnostic and testing equipment such as multimeters and related tools
• Knowledge of industrial safety practices, including lockout/tagout procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical maintenance work
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Industrial maintenance technician experience
• Multi-craft maintenance skills
• HVAC, welding, plumbing, or machine piping experience
• Dust collection systems experience
• TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or 5S experience
• Electrical maintenance and controls troubleshooting

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dubuque, IA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
