• Conduct and run the Planet Fitness PE@PF program, including creating and following the schedule.
• Consult with members regarding their fitness goals and instruct them on how to use equipment properly and safely.
• Create and implement creative ways to promote PE@PF class sign‑ups.
• Develop bi‑weekly updates comprising a variety of exercises.
• Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic.
• Assist in front desk activities: answer phones, check members into the system, facilitate new member sign‑ups, give club tours, update member account information.
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to team leaders or the club manager as needed.
• Help maintain the neatness, cleanliness, and appearance of the club.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A passion for fitness and health.
• Excellent customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co‑workers, exceeding expectations.
• Strong listening skills with the ability to empathize and problem‑solve.
• Diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
• Completed fitness trainer certification.

• Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift.
• Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift.
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. less than 30% of the time.
