We have newly created career opportunities for Warehouse Associates in our most successful rapidly expanding Division. Part Authority is a leading national distributor of automotive replacement parts, tools/equipment and transmissions headquartered in Long Island, New York, with more than 300 locations across the United States.

• Receive, process, label, and store incoming stock.
• Maintain clear records on all inventory and stock.
• Scan items into the warehouse management system.
• Inspect all stock for damages and keep records of damages.
• Organize the warehouse space.
• Prepare orders for shipment.
• Pick orders for shipment.
• Record exact arrival and departure times for shipments.
• Operate stock management tools such as powered industrial equipment and pallet jacks.
• Count stock and keep inventory records.
• Perform routine cleaning duties.
• Interface with management to ensure key objectives are realized.
• Maintain safety regulations and comply with all applicable regulations.

• Accurately follow written and verbal directions.
• Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements.
• Regularly lift, push, pull and move objects 10–50 lbs; occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, sit and climb as required.
• Work in narrow aisles or passageways.
• Operate within required vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus.
• Attention to detail, great communication, time management, and ability to work well under pressure.
• Work well with other staff members and supervisors.
• Open availability, flexible, and able to work various shifts and overtime.
• 1–2 years warehouse experience preferred.
• Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse; promote workplace safety.
• Secure and transfer cash or other assets as needed.

Salary: Minimum USD $16.50/Hr.
