Summary
The Warehouse Operations Coordinator supports the flow and optimization of a department or process in a fulfillment or distribution center. This role helps operations managers maintain team and equipment readiness, monitor performance, and address process needs throughout the shift.
Responsibilities
- Support safety, quality, performance, efficiency, and problem resolution.
- Assign daily work and reassign team members to meet business priorities.
- Communicate department results, hourly goals, and progress to team members and operations managers.
- Complete safety observations, shift hand-off trackers, and other operational tasks.
- Coordinate with support teams and assist with shift meetings, communication boards, and end-of-shift duties.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of warehouse experience in a fulfillment or distribution center.
- Knowledge of warehouse departments, processes, programs, and workflow.
- Strong time management, prioritization, communication, and follow-through skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and warehouse management systems.
- Excellent customer service and teamwork skills.
