Audit & Accounts Manager / Senior Manager

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Audit & Accounts Manager or Senior Manager looking to take the next step in a supportive and ambitious environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage your own diverse portfolio of audit and accounts clients, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Oversee end‑to‑end audit and accounts engagements from planning through to completion.
  • Collaborate closely with directors to identify opportunities for client growth and advisory services.
  • Review financial statements, audit files, and tax computations prepared by junior staff.
  • Lead and motivate a team of seniors and trainees, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback.
  • Build and maintain long‑lasting client relationships, gaining deep insights into their businesses.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards.
  • Support the business in identifying opportunities to improve internal processes and client service delivery.
Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA qualified.
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar Audit & Accounts Manager or Senior Manager role.
  • Proven track record of managing audits, particularly for owner‑managed businesses.
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to identify value‑added opportunities for clients.
  • Familiarity with CCH and other accounting software (desirable).
  • Tech‑savvy with a modern approach to accountancy and audit work.
