Salary £42,000 - £50,000 (DOE)

Butler Rose, public practice is delighted to be supporting our client, a well-established mid-tier accounting firm based in Stourbridge. Providing a full range of accounting, taxation, and business advisory services to a diverse client base. The firm offers a professional yet friendly working environment with a supportive team culture and a focus on quality client service.

• Preparation of year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
• Preparation and submission of corporation tax returns and related computations.
• Liaising with clients to obtain information, resolve queries, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Supporting partners and managers with ad-hoc accounting and tax assignments.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Using accounting software and maintaining accurate financial records.

• ACA / ACCA qualified with experience within a UK Accountancy firm.
• Solid accountancy practice experience, with a strong understanding of bookkeeping, statutory accounts, and management accounts.
• Good understanding of corporation tax, income tax, capital gains tax and VAT.
• Familiarity with cloud accounting systems.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
