A School Administrator provides vital administrative support to the leadership team and wider school community, ensuring the efficient running of school operations on a daily basis. Responsibilities include managing reception duties, answering telephone and email enquiries, maintaining pupil records on the school's management information system, supporting with admissions, coordinating correspondence with parents and external agencies, and assisting with finance administration and procurement.
The role requires excellent organisational skills, discretion, and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively. Strong IT proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office, is essential. Previous administrative experience in a school or public sector setting is desirable. A professional and welcoming manner, along with a clear understanding of data protection and confidentiality, are key requirements. An enhanced DBS check will be required for all successful candidates.
