Are you an experienced Estimator with knowledge of aluminium or structural steel products?

Looking to join a secure, well‑respected business with a loyal customer base and an incredibly low staff turnover?

A boutique‑sized specialist based in Halesowen is looking for an Estimator to join their close‑knit team. Although small in headcount, they are a big name in the structural steel industry, supplying long‑standing clients across the UK including schools, hospitals, prisons, factories, and major construction sites.

This is a permanent position, created due to an upcoming retirement - not due to growth problems or turnover. The team you'll be joining have worked together for many years, and they are proud of their supportive, friendly environment where hard work is genuinely recognised.

The Role

As an Estimator, you will:

Prepare accurate quotations for aluminium and structural steel products
Interpret drawings, specifications, and project requirements
Work closely with a small, experienced team to win work and deliver a high‑quality service
Help maintain the company's reputation for precision, reliability, and excellent customer care
Support a growing order book driven by repeat business and long-standing customers

What We're Looking For

Experience in estimating within the aluminium or structural steel industry is essential
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with customers
Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work
Someone who enjoys being part of a stable, collaborative team with traditional values

What's On Offer

Salary £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)

Standard working hours:
Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
