ITS Construction Professionals are recruiting for a Project Manager / Contracts Manager on behalf of a well-established, highly regarded contractor based in Brierley Hill. They have a strong reputation across the Midlands for quality work and long-standing relationships. With a healthy pipeline of work, they're now looking to add an experienced manager to their team.

You’ll oversee 2-3 projects at a time across the Midlands. The work covers both residential housing developments and main contracting schemes. That variety makes this a great opportunity for a time-served Contracts Manager, or for a Site Manager who’s ready to step up.

• Oversee 2-3 live projects across the Midlands, from pre-start through to handover
• Manage and support Site Managers and site teams so projects run safely, on time and within budget
• Plan and monitor project programmes, flagging risks early and putting solutions in place
• Take responsibility for project costs, valuations and financial reporting, working closely with the commercial team
• Make sure health and safety standards and site compliance stay high on every site
• Act as the key point of contact for clients, consultants, design teams and local authorities
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers, including procurement, performance and quality
• Run regular site visits, progress meetings and quality inspections
• Help deliver an excellent finished product and a smooth customer experience

• An experienced Contracts Manager or Project Manager, or a Site Manager with a strong track record who’s looking for the next step in your career
• A background in residential housing and/or main contracting
• Experience running multiple projects or managing site teams
• A good understanding of programmes, budgets and build processes
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
• SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold card) and First Aid
• A relevant construction qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) is desirable but not essential
• A full UK driving licence, as you’ll be travelling between sites across the Midlands
