Customer Service Specialist

Dudley Building Society seeks a dedicated Customer Service Specialist to deliver outstanding service to our members and support the growth of our local branch teams.

Role Overview

The role is part‑time, 21 hours per week on a rotating schedule. Saturday shifts, 9 am–12 pm, may be required.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain long‑term relationships with new and existing customers, guiding them through key life milestones.
  • Engage members in insightful conversations to understand their needs and match suitable products and services.
  • Provide excellent customer service: address enquiries, find solutions, and uphold a high satisfaction level.
  • Manage till activities and ensure conversations at the counter are maximised.
  • Assist customers with account management tasks.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the society to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
  • Contribute to the achievement of branch and corporate targets.
  • Support members during key life events using our financial products.
  • Engage with local community, businesses, and partners within and outside the branch.

  • Passionate about providing strong customer solutions.
