GP Trainer

Quarry Bank Medical Centre is seeking a Top-Tier General Practitioner and Accredited Trainer to join our high-performing team in Dudley. We are looking for an elite clinician who pairs educational excellence with advanced procedural skills.

In this role, you won't just be practicing medicine; you will be setting the standard. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will mentor the next generation of GPs while delivering high-value, specialized clinical services that keep our practice at the forefront of primary care innovation.

• Clinical Excellence & High-Yield Services – We are looking for a "Super GP" capable of delivering specialized clinical care that enhances our internal service portfolio. Proficiency or GPwER/GPwSI status in the following "high-tariff" areas is highly prioritized:
  • Minor Surgery:
    Competency in excisions, incisions, and joint injections.
  • Dermatology:
    Advanced diagnostic skills and lesion management.
  • Women’s Health:
    Proficiency in LARC (Coils and Gynaecological Implants).
  • Specialist Interests:
    We value expertise in Ophthalmology, Neurology, or other NHS revenue-generating clinical streams.
  • Clinical Supervision:
    Act as a dedicated mentor for GP Registrars and medical trainees, overseeing day‑to‑day clinical decision‑making.
  • Competency Benchmarking:
    Provide high-level feedback and supervision to ensure trainees achieve rigorous professional standards.
  • Leadership:
    Foster a supportive, modern learning environment focused on clinical efficiency and high-quality patient outcomes.

• Top-Tier Clinician:
  You have a reputation for clinical excellence, efficient list management, and a proactive approach to patient care.
• Accredited Trainer:
  You hold current GMC registration and the necessary qualifications to act as a GP Trainer/Clinical Supervisor.
• Revenue-Focused:
  You understand the "business of medicine" and can demonstrate how your specialist skills (Minor Ops, etc.) contribute to practice growth.
• Collaborator:
  You thrive in a modern, multidisciplinary team environment.

• Full GMC Registration and inclusion on the National Performers List.
• Proven track record in one or more specialist areas (Minor Surgery, Dermatology, LARC, etc.).
