Primary School Teaching Assistant

Location: Netherton

ABC Teachers are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant with prior experience supporting pupils of a primary age to work on a day-to-day / part-tine basis within the Netherton area to start from as soon as possible.

The role
This role will include:

Offering support to both pupils and staff members across various year groups in a primary setting.
Starting as day-to-day supply staff but with the potential to become long-term or even a permanent member of staff for the right fits.
Working between typical school hours of 08:30-15:30.
May be supporting the class as a whole or conducting 1:1 support.

ABC Teachers work with primary schools in and around the Netherton area, all offering a warm environment for supply staff coming into the school.

Requirements
To be considered for the Teaching Assistant role, you will:

Have had prior experience working with children in a similar setting.
Have a keen passion for building a strong working relationship with pupils and to provide them the best chance of developing.
Be able to commit to full-time work.
Ideally have a teaching assistant qualification, however with the right experience this is not compulsory.
Provide references from your most recent and relevant employment.
Possess or be willing to obtain an up-to-date DBS check registered with the update service.
