As a Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects to secondary students. You will ensure classes run smoothly in the absence of the regular teacher, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.

• Deliver pre-set lessons to classes across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Maintain classroom control and a positive learning atmosphere
• Support students with their learning and behaviour
• Follow school policies and procedures
• Provide feedback to teaching staff after cover lessons

• Previous experience working in a secondary school setting
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Confidence teaching across a range of subjects
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred, but not essential
• Suitable for Cover Supervisors or experienced Teaching Assistants ready to step up
