Our client, a well-established mainstream secondary school in Dudley, is seeking a passionate and committed English Teacher to join their team through our education recruitment agency. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to deliver engaging lessons and support students in achieving their full potential.

The Role:

You will be responsible for teaching English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential). The successful candidate will demonstrate strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom practice, and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Teach English across KS3 and KS4

* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum

* Assess and monitor student progress, providing effective feedback

* Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management

* Contribute to departmental planning and wider school initiatives

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

* Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting

* Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills

* Excellent communication and organisational abilities

* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
