Adult and Community Learning Tutors
Location:
Dudley Borough
There are two roles available:
Full Time (37 hours) and Part Time (18.5 hours).
The Adult and Community Learning (ACL) Service offers high‑quality learning opportunities for adults and families across Dudley, including courses in English, Maths, ESOL, ICT, Health and Wellbeing, and Family Learning, delivered in our three neighbourhood learning centres and various community venues.
Role:Tailored Learning Project
We are looking for individuals with a genuine passion for supporting others with their emotional, physical and mental health. A strong understanding of these areas, combined with the ability to empathise, motivate, and build confidence, is essential to making a positive impact in this role. The position offers the chance to work closely with the Curriculum Team to co‑design and deliver a vibrant, responsive curriculum that meets local need.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver high‑quality, learner‑focused sessions
- Support learners to progress and achieve
- Collaborate with colleagues to design an innovative curriculum
- Teach in a range of community venues
- A recognised teaching qualification
- Experience working with adult learners
- Knowledge of the Education Inspection Framework, RARPA, and quality assurance processes
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- Strong ICT skills
