We are seeking a Lunchtime Play leader to join our vibrant and dynamic two-form entry Church of England primary school, situated at the heart of our local community. Are you someone who cares deeply about children, who leads by example and who understands that every moment of the school day matters. As Ken Robinson once said, “Childhood is not a rehearsal,” and we believe lunchtime should be just as purposeful and joyful as any other part of the day.
Areyou someone who:
- Enjoys working with children and helping them to play well together?
- Is committed to supporting every child to have a safe and positive lunchtime experience?
- Is calm, fair and consistent when supporting behaviour?
- Is energetic and happy to encourage active play outdoors?
- Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively with colleagues?
- Models our school values and leads with integrity?
- A creative and supportive team who enjoy working collaboratively.
- A welcoming and supportive community.
- A positive working environment where laughter is part of the day.
- Music at the gates to get you in the dancing mood!
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children; therefore, the post is subject to medical clearance and an enhanced DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
All applicants must be able to provide documentation to prove their right to work in the UK.
Effective from September 2022, KCSIE states as part of the shortlisting process schools and colleges should consider carrying out on-line searches, as part of the due diligence on shortlisted candidates. This is to determine suitability to work with children and keep them safe. All shortlisted candidates are now subject to an on-line check and if there is anything concerning, then the shortlisted candidate will be asked to comment on it either prior to or at interview.
