Overview
Are you an experienced Primary Teacher looking for a part-time teaching role within a supportive and welcoming school environment? A friendly and inclusive Primary School in Dudley is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis. This part-time position is for 2 days per week, with the school offering flexibility on which days are worked.

You will be joining a collaborative staff team committed to providing high-quality education and supporting all children to achieve their potential. This is a teaching role focused on delivering pre-planned lessons to a Year 4 class.
As this is a non-planning position, you will not be required to undertake lesson planning responsibilities, allowing you to focus on effective classroom delivery, pupil engagement, and learning outcomes.
As a Year 4 Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging and differentiated pre-planned lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively to promote a productive learning atmosphere
- Assessing pupils’ understanding during lessons and providing feedback where appropriate
- Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff
- Maintaining high expectations of behaviour, achievement, and presentation
- Following school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times
To be successful in this Year 4 Teacher role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4
- A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Good classroom management skills and a proactive approach
- The ability to deliver lessons confidently and adapt to the needs of learners
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A positive, enthusiastic, and committed attitude to teaching
- A genuine passion for supporting pupils’ learning and development
- This role would suit an experienced teacher, a recently qualified teacher, or someone seeking a flexible part-time teaching opportunity.
Working as a Year 4 Teacher in this role, you will receive:
- Competitive Salary – from £130 - £160 per day, based on working 5 days a week and on previous experience
