Deputy Safeguarding and Prevent Lead – Term time only

£28,732 - £33,812 per annum

This role ensures a consistent approach across the college on all matters relating to student safeguarding and the prevent duty. You will work closely with curriculum and support staff to safeguard students and act as the key contact for all enquiries from staff and external organisations relating to safeguarding and prevent issues.

• Ensure consistent safeguarding and prevent approach across the college.
• Work with curriculum and support staff to safeguard students.
• Act as the key contact for all enquiries from staff and external organisations relating to safeguarding and prevent issues.

• Relevant qualification in safeguarding or supporting young people.
• Minimum of two years experience supporting students in an educational environment.

All successful applicants will need to undertake an enhanced disclosure and barring service check and children and adults barred list checks where the applicant will be employed in a regulated activity.
