Vision for Education is recruiting for a full-time Inclusion Support Assistant to join a dedicated specialist school in Dudley. This rewarding opportunity involves working with pupils who have a range of additional learning, emotional, social, and behavioural needs, providing the support and encouragement they need to succeed both academically and personally.
The Role- Full‑time position available until the end of the academic year, starting in September.
- Providing one‑to‑one and small group support to help pupils access learning and build confidence.
- Encouraging positive behaviour, emotional well‑being, and active participation in school life.
- Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and pastoral teams to deliver tailored support for individual students.
- Working with children and young people across different age groups within a specialist educational setting.
- Helping to foster an inclusive, welcoming environment where every pupil feels valued and supported.
- A specialist provision dedicated to supporting pupils with a variety of additional educational, social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
- Places a strong emphasis on inclusion, personal development, and nurturing positive relationships.
- Offers a structured and supportive learning environment designed to help students build confidence and achieve their goals.
- Based in Dudley, the school is easily accessible via public transport from Wolverhampton, Walsall, and Dudley.
- Have previous experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs and behavioural challenges.
- Suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.
- Have strong communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students.
- Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
