Midday Superintendent

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Midday Superintendent. This is a permanent position, 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, during term time only (38 weeks per year).

The Midday Superintendent will oversee lunchtime supervision to ensure the safety, wellbeing and positive behaviour of pupils during the lunchtime period. You will lead and support the team of Supervisory Assistants, coordinate lunchtime arrangements, and work closely with teaching staff and the Catering Manager to ensure pupils are well cared for. This role also includes monitoring health and safety, administering minor first aid where required, and reporting any concerns or incidents to the Line Manager.

• Oversee lunchtime supervision indoors and outdoors to ensure the safety, wellbeing and positive behaviour of pupils during the lunchtime period.
• Lead and support the team of Supervisory Assistants; coordinate the smooth running of lunchtime arrangements.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and the Catering Manager to ensure pupils are well cared for during lunchtimes.
• Monitor health and safety, administer minor first aid where required, and report concerns or incidents to the Line Manager.

• Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and promote a positive lunchtime environment.
