Rate of pay: £110 – £130 per day

We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to join the Secondary Phase of a dynamic and inclusive Academy in Dudley. The school is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals who can provide short-term classroom cover, with longer-term opportunities available for those able to commit to extended placements.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain engaged and on task
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour

• Previous experience supporting children within a secondary school is essential
• Degree in education or equivalent qualification
• A patient, nurturing, and empathetic approach
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required
• Strong communication skills, both with pupils and staff
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children (an enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one through Connex Education, is required)

• Funded formal qualification, from Level 2 SEND, Level 3 Teaching and Learning, Level 4 HTLA, Level 5 TEFL
