Primary SEN Teacher

Vision for Education is seeking an experienced Teacher to work in an SEN based provision in Dudley on a full-time basis on a temporary to permanent contract.

Hours 08:30-15:30pm Monday-Friday.

• Delivering engaging and effective lessons to students with varying additional needs catered towards their ECHP's. The students have a primary need of communication and interaction
• The class is small which caters primary ages students with a range of SEN needs. The hub consistes of 20-25 children with 1 lead teacher, 2 HLTA's and 6 support staff.
• Adhere to school policies while fostering a positive and supportive learning atmosphere.
• Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system. (Daily rate is subject to your scale rate, experience in role and qualifications which will be discussed at the point of registration.

• A Specialist parimary school provision based in Dudley for children and young people of primary age with moderate needs, ADHD, ASD and SEMH with the aim of providing high quality education.
• The schools’ key goals are to foster a well-rounded, supportive educational environment, providing opportunities for students to express their ideas creatively and constructively to help build their confidence.
• Teaching life skills, promoting empathy, social responsibility, and community involvement which will help students develop into caring, responsible citizens who contribute positively to society.

• Qualified Teacher Status with the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit pupils of all abilities, while building strong rapport.
• Experience working with students who have additional needs, including Moderate Learning Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties and Speech and Language Communication disorders. PGCE or QTS.
• A strong understanding of how to engage with students within lessons and tailor learning to fit their individual needs.
• A DBS Check, or readiness to undergo a DBS check.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position area suitable qualification for working with children and experience working with special education needs.
