Cover Supervisors
to work in SEN schools across the Dudley area. Following an exceptionally busy academic year, we're expecting demand to continue to grow, making this the perfect time to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience while making a real difference to the lives of young people with additional needs.

They are looking for confident, reliable Cover Supervisors who can build positive relationships, maintain a calm learning environment, and become valued members of their school communities. • Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Manage the classroom effectively, ensuring students remain engaged and focused on their learning.

• Encourage and support students with a range of Special Educational Needs.
• Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment where every student can succeed.

• Use positive behaviour management strategies to maintain a safe and productive classroom.
• Respond confidently and professionally to a variety of classroom situations.

• Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures, and health and safety guidelines at all times.
• Ensure a structured and supportive environment for all students.

• Work closely with teaching staff and school leaders, providing clear feedback on lessons and student progress.
• Build positive relationships with staff, students, and the wider school community.

To be considered for the Cover Supervisor role, you will:

• Have previous experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs, such as learning difficulties, autism and looked after children.
• Suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.
• Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students
• Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
