Amblecote Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic , talented and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our successful and nurturing school community .

About the Role

The successful candidate will:

• Deliver high-quality learning experiences for individuals, groups and whole classes.
• Provide PPA cover and short-term teaching cover across the school.
• Lead targeted interventions that support pupils to achieve their full potential.
• Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and inform future learning.
• Provide pastoral support and contribute to pupils' personal development and wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and leaders to continually improve outcomes.
• Plan and deliver engaging music lessons across the school, promoting a love of music and helping pupils develop their musical knowledge, skills and confidence.
• Lead and further develop music provision across the school, including performances, enrichment activities, whole-school events and extracurricular opportunities.

• Holds HLTA status.
• Has experience of working successfully with primary-aged children.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and high expectations for all pupils.
• Is committed to inclusion and ensuring every child can thrive.
• Has excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Is enthusiastic, creative and committed to continuous professional development.
• Has a passion for music and the ability to inspire and engage children through high-quality musical experiences.
• Has the confidence and expertise to teach music across the primary age range.
• Can play at least one musical instrument, which would be a distinct advantage.
