Generator & Small Tool Engineer
Salary: £25,000 – £32,000

Monday – Friday – Days
You’ll be a time-served or qualified generator engineer, with practical experience servicing and maintaining generators up to 120kVA, along with small tools and towable units.
You’ll also have experience in general trades such as joinery, plumbing or electrics, ideally gained within construction, property maintenance, or the modular/building hire sector. This role can be physically demanding and involves working outdoors, so you should be comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
Main Responsibilities- Undertake regular maintenance and servicing of a fleet of generators and small tools to maximise availability for hire.
- Support the depot's operational team with the maintenance and preparation of accommodation units, including installation, repair and adjustment of plumbing, electrical systems, and general fixtures and fittings.
- Generators are typically housed within service pods or welfare units, along with a range of small tools and towable units.
