Overview
Metallurgy Graduate.
Location:
West Midlands. Salary: £32,000.
A well-established UK manufacturer of high-integrity cast components is seeking a Metallurgy Graduate to join its technical team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on industrial experience and make a real impact early in your career.
The RoleYou will support metallurgical activities across production and quality, including:
- Reviewing customer specifications and casting plans
- Supporting melt planning and production targets
- Conducting microstructural testing and investigations
- Managing and digitising metallurgical data
- Assisting with audits, failure analysis, and corrective actions
- Supporting process improvements and technical trials
- Degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or related discipline
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Interest in manufacturing and continuous improvement
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Industrial or laboratory experience desirable, not essential
- Hands-on technical role from day one
- Strong learning and development environment
- Opportunity to build a solid foundation in applied metallurgy
