Civil Infrastructure Engineer (Highways & Drainage Design)

Are you a skilled Civil Infrastructure Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? Join a growing consultancy team in Dudley and play a key role in delivering high-quality highways and drainage designs across a diverse range of development projects.

As a Civil Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of highways and drainage schemes for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. Working within an experienced and supportive team, you'll contribute to projects from concept through to construction.

• Design of highways in accordance with relevant standards (e.g. Section 38, Section 278)
• Preparation of drainage strategies and detailed drainage design (including SuDS)
• Production of technical drawings, specifications, and design calculations
• Liaising with local authorities, statutory consultees, and clients
• Supporting planning applications and technical approvals
• Attending project and client meetings

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Experience in highways and drainage design within a consultancy environment
• Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g. AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Micro Drainage/Info Drainage)
• Working knowledge of UK design standards and approval processes
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Progressing towards or already achieved professional chartership (ICE or similar) desirable
