A respected environmental and geotechnical consultancy is looking to recruit a Graduate Geologist to join its growing team in Dudley. Operating across the UK, the company provides specialist site investigation and contaminated land services for developments within the residential, industrial and infrastructure sectors.

Based in Dudley, the successful candidate will gain practical experience on a wide variety of ground investigation projects while working alongside experienced geologists and engineers.

Key responsibilities include:

Carrying out intrusive site investigations and fieldwork
Logging soil and rock samples to industry standards
Monitoring ground gases and groundwater conditions
Collecting environmental samples and recording site information
Assisting with technical reports and preliminary risk assessments
Supporting geotechnical and environmental analysis projects
Travelling to sites across the UK as required

Applicants should have:

A degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, Environmental Geoscience or a related discipline

Flexibility to undertake site-based work and travel when necessary
The ability to commute to Dudley on a daily basis
