Electrical Design Engineer – Birmingham (Hybrid Working) – £55,000 - £62,000 + Excellent Benefits

Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer looking to take ownership of challenging automation and control systems projects?

Join a well-established and highly regarded engineering team delivering bespoke factory automation, robotics, and PLC-based solutions across the UK. This role values your expertise, your designs make an impact, and you'll work alongside like-minded engineers in a collaborative environment.

You will be designing and developing electrical solutions from concept through to manufacture, including:

• Electrical schematics and general arrangements
• Control panel design for industrial automation systems
• Working with industry-standard tools such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN (P8)
• Supporting projects across robotics, factory automation, and PLC control systems

This is a technically engaging role offering variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to work on complex, real-world engineering challenges.

• Proven experience in electrical design within automation, machinery, or control systems
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar CAD tools
• Understanding of control panels, PLC systems, and industrial environments
• Enjoys working as part of a collaborative engineering team
