Interim Financial Modeller - South Birmingham The rewards

• £400–£500 per day (outside IR35)
• 6–12 month contract
• Hybrid working (4 days on-site)

• Hybrid working — 4 days on-site in South Birmingham

• Building and enhancing sophisticated financial models to support business planning and decision‑making
• Developing detailed cash flow forecasts and liquidity planning tools
• Creating dynamic scenario and sensitivity analysis models
• Supporting covenant monitoring and forecasting
• Modelling the financial impact of commercial, operational and strategic scenarios
• Working with senior stakeholders to challenge assumptions and improve forecasting accuracy
• Translating large volumes of financial and operational data into meaningful insights
• Providing recommendations and analysis to support future growth and investment decisions
• Reviewing existing forecasting processes and identifying opportunities for improvement

• Proven experience delivering complex financial modelling projects
• Advanced Excel modelling skills
• Strong FP&A, commercial finance or financial modelling experience
• Experience developing cash flow forecasts and scenario planning models
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and quickly understand complex business drivers
• Hands‑on approach with a focus on delivering practical, value‑adding outputs
• Experience with in automotive, retail, distribution or multi‑site businesses (advantageous)

This is a key project‑focused assignment working closely with the senior leadership team of a highly successful and growing business in South Birmingham.
