Salary £36,581 to £39,481 (Pro Rata)
We are looking for an experienced Streetworks Officer to join our Network Management and Co-ordination Team.
As Streetworks Officer you will support the delivery of the Council’s responsibilities and functions of the Network Management and Co-ordination Team by undertaking inspections to ensure that all work and licenced activities carried out in the public highway are undertaken in compliance with the New Roads & Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA), the Traffic Management Act 2004 (TMA), the Highways Act (1980), alongside the Authority’s Permit Scheme, and any national guidance and Codes of Practice .
The successful candidate will:
- Have a detailed knowledge of traffic management systems and highways legislation
- Possess or be willing to obtain NRSWA Supervisors Accreditation
- Have experience of working with customers, clients and partners
- Hold a full driving licence
