Social Care Worker Home Care

Salary: £21,000 – £28,000 per annum

Care 2 U is seeking compassionate and experienced Social Care Workers to join their community care team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting adults in their own homes and promoting independent living. As a Social Care Worker, you will support vulnerable adults in their daily lives, helping them maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life.

• Provide person-centred care including washing, dressing, meal prep, and mobility support
• Support individuals with learning disabilities, mental health issues, autism, and dementia
• Escort service users to appointments and social engagements
• Work on a flexible rota across weekdays, evenings, and weekends
• Promote independence and well-being through tailored support plans

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in healthcare or social care
• Strong communication and empathy skills
• Valid driver’s licence and access to own vehicle (essential)
• Experience with autism, learning disabilities, or dementia (preferred)
• Commitment to training and continuous development
• For overseas applicants:
  • Must be at least 27 years old (UK insurance requirement)
  • Proof of 2 years’ driving experience
  • Ability to obtain a vehicle within 3 weeks of arrival
