To assist with a variety of tasks that support the 18‑year‑old client with ASD and moderate learning disabilities, facilitating their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.
About the EmployerOur client is recruiting a Personal Assistant to support their 18‑year‑old son, who has ASD and moderate learning disabilities, every Monday afternoon so he can attend a social club in Kidderminster.
Job Responsibilities- Assist with a variety of tasks to support the client’s daily living and personal lifestyle.
- Attend the social club every Monday afternoon.
- Hours of work: 2.5 hours per week on Mondays.
- Rate of pay: £13.01 per hour.
- Position funded by the Local Authority; paid weekly.
Looking for an honest, reliable, punctual, non‑judgmental individual who can build good relationships based on trust and respect, is flexible, adaptable, easy‑going, able to work independently, positive, and willing to travel. Experience working with individuals with additional needs is required.
Requirements- Full UK driving licence.
- Own car and appropriate insurance.
- Previous experience working with individuals with additional needs.
- Ability to build relationships.
- Successful applicants will require DBS checks and employment references.
