Senior Product & Operations Manager; Insurance

A senior product and operations leader with insurance underwriting experience is required to own end-to-end delivery of underwriting initiatives and product-to-market campaigns. This role combines deep underwriting expertise with disciplined project and program management to translate underwriting strategy into operational outcomes.

The ideal candidate has experience working inside an insurance carrier or MGA, understands underwriting decision-making in practice, and has successfully led complex, cross-functional underwriting initiatives.

• Own end-to-end delivery of underwriting initiatives and product-to-market campaigns
• Lead planning and execution across multiple concurrent initiatives
• Manage scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and delivery outcomes
• Act as the underwriting domain lead, owning workflows, rules, guidelines, and referral logic
• Ensure underwriting intent is accurately translated into operational execution
• Partner with underwriting leadership, actuarial, risk, and technology teams
• Provide clear status reporting and manage delivery partners as needed
• Drive process improvement, change adoption, and post-implementation outcomes

• 7+ years in the insurance industry with direct underwriting experience
• Proven leadership of underwriting-focused projects or programs
• Strong project and program management experience delivering complex initiatives
• Strong understanding of underwriting rules, workflows, and risk selection
• Experience working within an insurance carrier or MGA environment

• Underwriting initiatives delivered on time with clear business outcomes
• Strong credibility and trust with underwriting teams and leadership
