As a Senior Sales Insurance Account Handler, you’ll manage your own portfolio of clients, acting as their trusted point of contact for all insurance-related enquiries. You’ll build lasting relationships, provide tailored insurance solutions, and ensure every client receives an outstanding level of service.

Working closely with colleagues across the business, you’ll play a key role in retaining and developing existing accounts while identifying opportunities to grow your client portfolio.

• Manage a portfolio of commercial and/or personal insurance clients.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships through exceptional customer service.
• Handle client enquiries, renewals, amendments and policy administration.
• Provide professional insurance advice tailored to individual client needs.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell appropriate insurance products.
• Negotiate with insurers to secure competitive terms for clients.
• Ensure all work complies with FCA regulations and internal compliance procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver an efficient and seamless customer experience.

• Previous experience working within the insurance industry (essential).
• Experience in an Account Handler, Insurance Advisor, Broker or similar client‑facing role.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• A proactive approach with the confidence to manage your own workload.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• A commercial mindset with the ability to identify sales opportunities.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining regulatory compliance.
