Position: Housing Paralegal
Service Care Solutions is working with a community-centred local authority, based in Dudley, which is looking to recruit an experienced Housing Paralegal to support their Housing Legal Team on an initial contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact within the local community.Role: Housing ParalegalLocation: DudleyContract Length: 6 months ongoingUmbrella Rate: £25 - £30phPAYE Inc. Rate: £22.32 - £26.67phKey duties include:

• Advising Housing staff on tenancy enforcement, breach of tenancy (including ASB and nuisance), possession proceedings, injunctions, committal and closure orders.
• Drafting notices, claim forms, particulars of claim, court applications, gas warrants and directions to leave.
• Preparing trial bundles for County Court, High Court and Magistrates'/Youth Court hearings.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience supporting solicitors within Housing Services on matters both prior to formal instruction of the Law and Governance Division and following instruction, providing ongoing case support as required.
• Strong drafting and case preparation skills.
• Confident working independently and advising internal stakeholders.
