Are you a Supply Chain Coordinator looking for a new role Do you have experience of a manufacturing supply chain feeding materials into production Are you looking for work on a temporary basis in a fantastic production planning and materials team
Kingscroft have been asked to work with a specialist manufacturing business to recruit a Supply Chain Coordinator on a temporary basis. As the ideal candidate you will have experience working in a materials, production or logistics supply team with knowledge of MRP systems and experience of supporting manufacturing operations.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
MRP interrogation ensuring supplier materials demand aligns with the production plan
Release of supplier schedules and purchase orders in a timely accurate manner
Maintain accurate supplier planning data
Facilitate supplier coordination ensuring deliveries are aligned to MRP and supplier schedule demand profile
Expedite de-expedite supplier deliveries as needed in accordance with fluctuating actual demand plans
Ensure timely communication of order confirmations, delivery dates, and changes
Assist with stock level monitoring and highlight potential shortages or excesses
Prepare routine materials supply chain reports, including KPIs, delivery performance, and inventory metrics
Support the Materials Manager and supply chain team as needed with all associate day to day tasks
Skills/Experience Essential
Proven experience in a supply chain, materials control, or purchasing environment, ideally within a manufacturing or production setting
Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (QAD, SAP etc), with the ability to interpret planning outputs and maintain accurate system data
Strong understanding of import processes and HMRC compliance requirements, including documentation, tariff codes, and customs procedures
Excellent communication and supplier management skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships internally and externally
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, with confidence in interpreting data, identifying issues, and supporting corrective actions
High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when managing data, documentation, and inventory related tasks
