A leading manufacturer is looking for an experienced Logistics Administrator to join their busy operations team.
As a Logistics Administrator, you will be responsible for coordinating UK and international shipments, ensuring products are delivered safely, on time and in the most cost-effective manner. Working closely with multiple departments, you will manage transport arrangements, prepare export documentation and provide outstanding customer service while ensuring compliance with shipping and customs regulations.
As a Logistics Administrator, your duties will include:- Coordinate the dispatch of UK and international customer orders, ensuring deliveries are completed on time and in line with agreed lead times
- Arrange cost-effective transport solutions and manage relationships with freight providers, customers, suppliers and internal teams
- Prepare and process all transport and export documentation, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and shipping legislation
- Manage customer enquiries and provide administrative support to the sales team, delivering a high standard of customer service
- Coordinate warehouse pick and pack priorities to ensure efficient order fulfilment and dispatch
- Produce and analyse weekly and monthly KPI reports to support operational performance and continuous improvement
- Previous experience within a logistics, transport, shipping or supply chain coordination role
- Strong customer service and administrative experience
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience liaising with customers, suppliers, freight providers and internal teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with ERP system experience desirable; previous Sage experience would be advantageous
- Salary ranging GBP
28,000 - GBP
32,000 - Monday to Friday
- 33 days annual leave, including bank holidays
- Early Finish on Friday's
