Key Responsibilities
  • Provide responsive, safe and effective reactive maintenance support across the 4 on 4 off operational shift pattern, prioritising production-critical breakdowns and restoring equipment with minimal disruption.

  • Ensure maintenance work is completed in accordance with site safety procedures, including isolation and lock‑off requirements, permits to work and safe systems of work.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, breakdown reports, parts usage and handover information to a high standard.
  • Monitor critical spares and notify the appropriate manager of replacement or stock requirements.
  • Carry out basic facilities and site‑services maintenance where required.
  • Work closely with operations colleagues, contractors and other engineers, providing clear shift handovers and a flexible, first‑time‑right approach.
  • Support other shifts or operational requirements where reasonably required, including planned shutdowns and urgent maintenance activity.
  • 4 on 4 off shift pattern, with working hours aligned to operational requirements.
  • Reactive maintenance coverage is a core requirement of the role. Planned maintenance will be completed around production priorities and agreed shutdown windows.
