BASIC SALARY
Up to £60,000 dependent on your relevant experience.

Job DescriptionAs our Production Manager, you will have full autonomy to lead our manufacturing operation, overseeing planning and scheduling, production and warehousing. We have invested heavily in CAPEX to develop our semi‑automated facility, and we need your help to continue to drive our growth and develop our efficiencies.
We have genuine capacity to grow our production facility, and the right person should identify immediate value‑added opportunities. This role is ideal for an experienced production manager who is ambitious to continue their professional development. We welcome applications from ambitious Production Shift Managers, Supervisors or Team‑leaders looking to step up and take on greater responsibility.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee production and warehousing activities, providing leadership and guidance.
- Ensure the production facility adheres to all QHSE standards.
- Develop key members of your production team to succession plan and help them achieve their full potential.
- Work closely with procurement on stock levels and oversee production scheduling.
- Solid production management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Equally comfortable and competent on the shop floor and in a board room.
- Strong leadership and people‑management experience.
- Competent knowledge of quality management systems, health & safety and lean manufacturing.
- Experience working with various ERP / MRP systems.
- Background in chemical manufacturing preferred; open to experienced production leaders from aligned industries.
While we are not hung up on academic qualifications, we would expect you to hold certifications such as IOSH/NEBOSH, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, etc.
