Overview

As a key member of the Despatch Team you will provide on time in full packing of conveyors and spares to meet customer requirements.

Hours of work: 7.00am to 4:00pm (30 Minutes lunch) Monday to Thursday, 7.00am to 1.00pm on Fridays

Expectation of Travel:
Occasional movement between sites, as the business needs.

Responsibilities

* Manual handling including packing of parts

* Checking parts & packing parcels

* Greeting drivers and ensuring correct paperwork is signed

* General data input (geared motor sheets, packing lists etc)

* Responsibility for method of packing to correspond with customer and/or transport requirements

* The prompt packing of conveyor modules from the Assembly Departments to maintain production continuity

* The loading of vehicles

* The completion and distribution of despatch documentation when required

* Responsibilities as listed in Health & Safety Policy

* Ensuring that housekeeping of work area is maintained

* Assistance in working for other departments when necessary

* Operation of various equipment as required, Chop saw, nail gun, banding machines, FLT and Crane

* High degree of physical fitness

* Good communicator, English reading/writing skills

* Team player with experience of working within a factory setting
