AllAbout the Role
This is not a design role. It is an end-to-end, customer-focused technical role, translating customer specifications into digital drawings, 3D models, and CNC programs for profiling machinery. You will work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, collaborating closely with internal teams, machine operators, and customers to ensure accurate production programming. The role plays a key part in maintaining efficient workflows and achieving optimal machine performance through clear communication, attention to detail, and practical problem-solving.
SpecificTasks Include — CAD & Programming Responsibilities
- Interpret, create & produce accurate digital drawings and 3D models based on customer specifications.
- Update and maintain the customer drawing database.
- Produce accurate costing estimates as required for customer enquiries or product development.
- Minimise waste and scrap across all programs.
- Work with operators to achieve overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Perform daily customer liaison to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Liaise with all internal departments as required to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Complete any ad‑hoc duties in line with operational requirements.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with 2D/3D CAD applications, preferably Solid Works and Artube.
